Beach Holiday with a Difference

Jill Holliday is heading out on a Mission to Morocco to take part in the toughest marathon in the World.

Jill is the Manager of the MRC Centre for Transplantation based at Guy’s Hospital. In March this year she is taking part in the Marathon des Sables to raise money for the KPA. The race through the Sahara takes competitors across over 200km of desert terrain in six days.

Having worked for the Centre at Guy’s for nearly three years Jill is very aware of the importance of KPA support for ongoing research. ‘The KPA has been very generous in supporting research within the centre,  donations from the KPA have allowed vital research to take place and supported major projects which have transformed the centre in the last three years’. Jill will be fundraising for two charities, one of which is the KPA and you can visit her fundraising web page here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/JillHolliday
